Fiend Morrow V3 Stem Review

Ty Morrow’s signature stem is a clean looking top load stem. The specs on this stem are designed for Ty’s riding style and will hold up to the big drops you plan to do. Is it worth $70 though?

Fiend Morrow V3 Stem Overview

Ty Morrow signature stem by Fiend. CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminium. Ty’s stem features extensive external machining to the faceplate and body to reduce weight, solid chromoly stem bolts, and a recessed compression bolt area that allows the top cap to sit flush for a clean look. They have increased the width slightly and removed all internal machining to virtually eliminate handlebar slippage

Conclusion

The Morrow V3 Stem is a good stem. The red color is sick. It has a sleek look and bars do not slip very often when clamped down in this stem. In my opinion, it is a very expensive stem. I don’t think it is worth $70. You can find a stem that is just as good for much less.

My parents bought me my first BMX bike in 2011 and it changed my life. This bike has taken me all over the world and introduced me to cool places and cooler people. My goal is to help get 1,000,000 people into BMX so they can experience the joy and freedom that comes from a progression based sport.
