21″ is a tall top tube.

This is a longer chain stay. A long chain stay gives your more control over hops, manuals, and ice picks.

Steep head tube angles make the bike “snappy” meaning more responsive to fast turns.

A less steep head tube gives you more control.

E: Bottom Bracket Height: 11.7″

F: Stand Over Height: 9″

This is a tall stand over. A tall stand over gives you more control with manuals and ice picks. It also makes it easier to hop high.

2020 We The People Trust Price

$784 is pretty expensive for a bmx bike. Most people who buy a complete bike are pretty new into bmx. The 2020 Trust is designed for riders who are pretty familiar with bmx and who want a bike that will hold up to aggressive street riding.

What you get for $700 is actually a really good deal.

2020 We The People Trust Quality

Wethepeople did put a lot of quality into this bike. It has all of my favorite qualities like double wall rims and full chromoly.

Full Chromoly Frame bars and forks. Chromoly is the strongest type of steel available for bmx bikes. Read more about it hereOpens in a new tab.

Salt Plus Elite 3pc cranks. Super strong chromoly cranks with the better 48 spline spindle.

Eclat Trippin Double Wall Rims. Running single wall rims is stupid. Please make sure your bike has double wall rims.

Highlights

Good parts!

Bikes come with: bad parts, ok parts, good parts and great parts. The 2020 Trust has good parts borderline great parts. Things like 48 spline cranks are really rare to find on a complete bike.

Lowlights

Expensive

I feel like most people have a $500 budget when buying bmx bikes. Sadly this wtp bike goes over that cap. Don’t get me wrong, it’s worth the money. Just a little expensive.

Buy if you are learning:

My parents bought me my first BMX bike in 2011 and it changed my life. This bike has taken me all over the world and introduced me to cool places and cooler people. My goal is to help get 1,000,000 people into BMX so they can experience the joy and freedom that comes from a progression based sport.
