2020 Fit Phantom Review

If you are a new rider that wants a solid bike for less than $500 this is the bike for you. It includes chromoly parts that keep it strong. I absolutely love the white and red color way. This bike is one of my favorites from Fit’s 2020 line.

2020 Fit Phantom Price

$440 is a pretty good price for the frame. Slightly more expensive than the 2020 Fit STR. However, it’s a better quality bike because it has a full chromoly frame.

2020 Fit Phantom Quality

The quality is decent. Like I said, it has a full chromoly frame. It also comes with chromoly bars and forks. Single walls suck, they bend and they don’t last when you are doing spins and stuff like that.

Highlights

Looks sick!

This might be personal opinion, but I think that the bike looks super sick with the red and white color way. Good work.

Lowlights

Not worth the price

The Phantom has the same issue as the 2020 STR. It’s just not worth the price. For $440 they could have at least put a double wall rear rim.

Buy if you are learning:

  • Bunny hops
  • x-up
  • feeble
  • double pegs
  • pull up barspins

Don’t buy if you are learning:

  • 360
  • tail-whips
  • big stair-sets
  • feeble to spin

Conclusion 🤩

It’s a pretty fair bike. I think that for a beginner it will be alright, you might need to buy new wheels eventually, but at least the chromoly frame will last a while.

My parents bought me my first BMX bike in 2011 and it changed my life. This bike has taken me all over the world and introduced me to cool places and cooler people. My goal is to help get 1,000,000 people into BMX so they can experience the joy and freedom that comes from a progression based sport.
