2020 Fly Orion Overview
The Orion is Fly’s trails and bowl riding machine. For 2020 Fly have improved the bike following Sergio Layos’ style and moved the brakes to the chain stays for a cleaner look and more braking power. The Orion comes equipped with the full range of Ruben Alcantara signature parts, including the refined Ruben 2.25” tire in the back!

This is a long chain stay. Longer Chain-stays give you more control when doing manuals and bunny hops. The long chain stay is good for control on trails and flowing park.

Steep head tube angles make the bike “snappy” meaning more responsive to fast turns.
A less steep head tube gives you more control.

2020 Fly Orion Price
Not many BMX bikes cost $600-$700. So this makes the Orion special. It gives riders the option to buy a bike with quality similar to that of a custom bike, for a lot cheaper. I still think that this is a lot of money, but it is worth the cost.
2020 Fly Orion Quality
A classic high-level bike. This bmx bike has everything that a high-level rider will need, including full chromoly, gussets, and strong wheels. Fly even included after market “pro parts”
Fly Tractor Sprocket: An aftermarked sprocket that is thicker than most.
Volcano ST Stem: The brand new Volcano ST stem comes with a shorter 48mm reach and a taller, more street-friendly 35mm rise, to make your ride not only ultra-responsive but also amazing looking too.
Fly Ruben Tires: There’s not much to be said that hasn’t already about the classic Ruben tire. The original fat, now legendary tire, with medium depth and perfect tread pattern, micro knurling that’s as happy in the dirt as it is on cement, this really is the perfect tire for every occasion. Rubens Rampera tire comes standard with a puncture-resistant layer and up to 110 PSI capabilities.

2020 Fly Orion Conclusion 🤩
The Omega this year is a really strong really expensive complete bike. Perfect for a rider who needs a quality complete to withstand hefty riding. If you are a beginner, the only reason to buy this bike is to flex on your friends. Nothing wrong with flexing, I just don’t want you to waste your money.
