S&M Holy Diver Frame Review

This Holy Diver frame is a popular choice for s&M lovers. That sounds bad… Anyway, The trans colors are amazing. I’m in love with that red. The geometry is designed to be quick and responsive, which is different for most s&m frames that aim for a controlled ride.

✅ – Light at 4.65 lbs

S&M Holy Diver Frame Overview

Designed to be responsive and built to take a beating. Thick, micro shaped heat-treated drop-outs are ultra-strong and allow for ample peg clearance. Taller head tube reduces the number of spacers needed. Laser-cut top tube gusset for added strength. Modern street geometry works well on almost all terrains.

A: Top Tube Length: 20.5″, 20.75″, 21″ – Learn what size is right for you here.Opens in a new tab.

3 size options give you a few choices.

B: Chain Stay Length: 12.7″ – 13″ – Learn About Chain Stays HereOpens in a new tab.

This is a medium length chain stay. It provides a good balance for control and responsiveness.

Run it slammed for 12.7″

Run it extended for 13″

C: Head Tube Angle: 75º – Learn About Head Tube Angles HereOpens in a new tab.

Steep head tube angles make the bike “snappy” meaning more responsive to fast turns.

A less steep head tube gives you more control.

D: Seat Tube Angle: 71°

E: Bottom Bracket Height: 11.7″

F: Stand over height: 9″

This is a tall standover. A tall standover gives you more control with barspins and t-bogs. But makes whips harder.

Conclusion

If you are a technical street rider, you will like this frame. The responsive back end and tall standover give you control and responsiveness. Never doubt the quality behind these s&m parts, even with a $400 price tag.

My parents bought me my first BMX bike in 2011 and it changed my life. This bike has taken me all over the world and introduced me to cool places and cooler people. My goal is to help get 1,000,000 people into BMX so they can experience the joy and freedom that comes from a progression based sport.
