Cult Hawk V3 Frame Review

This is a 2019 version of the Chase Hawk signature frame. For 2020 it was changed to the Hawk Reaper frame. The Hawk V3 frame weights 5.16 pounds and is made from strong chromoly tubing. They added gussets on there to keep the tubes from snapping. Overall it’s a strong frame for a rider who wants to flow.

A: Top Tube Length: 20.5″, 20.75″, 21″, 21.25″ – Learn what size is right for you here.

There are size options for every size rider. Except a 20″, really small riders need a 20″.

B: Chain Stay Length: 13.5″ – Learn About Chain Stays Here

This is a long chain stay. A long chain stay will give riders more control and stability.

C: Head Tube Angle: 74.5.º – Learn About Head Tube Angles Here

Steep head tube angles make the bike “snappy” meaning more responsive to fast turns.

A less steep head tube gives you more control.

D: Seat Tube Angle: 71°

E: Bottom Bracket Height: 11.7″

F: Stand over height: 8.75″

This is a medium to tall standover. A tall standover will give the bike more control, and make bars and t-bog easier.

A strong Cult frame, if you like cult and like Chase Hawk, you will like the frame. It is designed to allow you to ride with a lot of control and flow. This frame is not for a really responsive tech rider.
