Total Hangover Fork Review

The Hangover is an extremely lightweight park fork. Designed to be light and responsive to suit tech park riders like Alex Coleborn. They come with strong 4130 Chromoly and a year warranty. These are not the strongest forks in the world, however, they are pretty good.

Total Hangover Fork Overview

The Alex Coleborn signature fork is extremely responsive with its low offset of 28mm, it will steepen up your front end which is great for tech riding and nose manuals. The forks also have super tapered legs which look really tidy.

Fork Geometry

A: Steerer Length: 168mm

This is the average-sized steer tube. A bigger steer tube will require spacers and make the bars higher. These forks don’t do that.

B: Offset: 28mm

I’d say this is a pretty responsive offset. However, at 28mm it does a really good job of balancing responsiveness with control.

C: Dropout Size: 10mm

For 10mm front wheel axles.

Conclusion

I have always loved watching Alex Coleborn ride. His tech riding is next level. He is a really short guy, so riding his parts wouldn’t suit me very well. If you are a smaller rider that wants a really light fork that is set up to balance responsiveness with control.. you will love riding this fork.

Writing this book was a huge goal for me. I spent a lot of time creating these 60 pages of goodness. In this book, I talk about how specs can influence your riding. For example…

Did you know how a short chain stay can make spins easier? Or how the reach of a stem can make bars or whips harder?. Check out the book to brush up on your bmx knowledge.

My parents bought me my first BMX bike in 2011 and it changed my life. This bike has taken me all over the world and introduced me to cool places and cooler people. My goal is to help get 1,000,000 people into BMX so they can experience the joy and freedom that comes from a progression based sport.
