Frame Geometry

A: Top Tube Length:  20″ & 20.5″ – Learn what size is right for you here.Opens in a new tab.

These are short top tubes

B: Chain Stay Length: 13.2” – 13.5″ – Learn About Chain Stays HereOpens in a new tab.

This is a longer chain stay, it will give you more balance when doing manuals and pulling up for higher bunny hops.

C: Head Tube Angle: 75° – Learn About Head Tube Angles HereOpens in a new tab.

Steep head tube angles make the bike “snappy” meaning more responsive to fast turns.

A less steep head tube gives you more control.

D: Seat Tube Angle: 71°

E: Bottom Bracket Height: 11.5″

F: Stand over height: 8.75″

This is a medium/tall standover.

A medium stand over provides a good balance between responsiveness and control.

While a tall stand over allows you to pinch more of the seat for bars and t-bogs.

2021 Sunday Blueprint Price

So I actually think that for the quality that you are getting, the Blueprint is actually a little bit overpriced. They say “you get what you pay for” and that is true but it is still a little overpriced.

2021 Sunday Blueprint Quality

This is definitely a lower-quality bike. With hi-tensile steel, frame, forks, and bars, the blueprint will not last as you progress to mid-level riding. With that being said, it does have the geometry to feel like a higher level bike. Just not the quality.

Highlights

Really Affordable

The 2021 Blueprint is affordable for most people during non-pandemic times. It shouldn’t take very long to save up $320.

Lowlights

Low Quality

With the lower prices, comes the lower quality. This can be a big problem for people who want to buy one bike and want it to last them for years!

Buy if you are learning:

  • 180
  • 360 taps
  • Manuals
  • pull up Barspin
  • no-handers
  • footjam

Don’t buy if you are learning:

  • Freecoaster tricks
  • Grinding hand rails
  • Huge drops
  • 720
  • Flips
  • Whips
  • Big 360

2021 Sunday Blueprint Conclusion

This bike is designed for brand new riders. If you are a brand new rider and you don’t mind paying a little extra for the Sunday ‘name’, it will be a good choice. If you want a bike to last until you are riding at a high-level, go for a mid-level bike instead.

2021 Sunday Bike Line Review

Douglas Laird

My parents bought me my first BMX bike in 2011 and it changed my life. This bike has taken me all over the world and introduced me to cool places and cooler people. My goal is to help get 1,000,000 people into BMX so they can experience the joy and freedom that comes from a progression based sport.
