2021 Sunday Scout Overview
The 2021 Scout is a great bike for dedicated riders on a budget.
The Scout line is built with more aftermarket parts than ever before, including the Odyssey Twisted Pro pedal and Path Pro tire. Bike shops and riders will appreciate the fully sealed front and rear hubs, and awesome details like Odyssey signature grips and the Springfield Brake system.

Frame Geometry
A: Top Tube Length: 20.75″ or 21″ – Learn what size is right for you here.
Designed for riders who are 5′ 9″ to 6′ 2″
B: Chain Stay Length: 13.2″ – 13.5” – Learn About Chain Stays Here
This is a longer chain stay. It gives you a more stable and controlled feel.
C: Head Tube Angle: 75.5° – Learn About Head Tube Angles Here
Steep head tube angles make the bike “snappy” meaning more responsive to fast turns.
A less steep head tube gives you more control.
D: Seat Tube Angle: 71°
E: Bottom Bracket Height: 11.7″
F: Stand over height: 9″
This is a medium/tall standover.
A medium stand over provides a good balance between responsiveness and control.
While a tall stand over allows you to pinch more of the seat for bars and t-bogs.
2021 Sunday Scout Price
I like that the 2021 Scout is less than $500. You could definitley get this bike add add some of your own upgrades to it. The Scout is a little expensive for the quality that yuo get, but Sunday is a good brand.
2021 Sunday Scout Quality
The only ‘stand out’ quality parts on the scout are the few aftermarket parts like the freeze stem, twisted pc pedals, and path pro tires. This frame also has a chromoly down tube which will add a little strength and make the frame last longer.
Highlights
Under $500
A bike under $500 is a lot more likely to be bought by parents on a budget. Usually, they will spend around $300-$500 on a bike for their kiddo. So pricing this bike around $409 is a good choice if you want to get more people into the sport.
Lowlights
Lower Quality
Like I mentioned before, The Sunday scout is a beginner bike. Which means beginner quality and parts that will break if you start to ride at a mid or high-level.
Buy if you are learning:
- 180
- 360 taps
- pull up bars
- t-bogs
- crank flips
- 1 hander
Don’t buy if you are learning:
- tailwhips
- big 360’s
- grinding hand rails
- back flips
2021 Sunday Scout Conclusion
For a beginner bike, I really like it. The two top tube options give you a choice between a more responsive ride or a flowy ride. It’s is a little overpriced for the quality, but Sunday is a really good bike. If you want to get a bike and learn some beginner tricks this is the bike for you!
