Frame Quality

There is a huge difference between both of these bike’s frame quality. The Kink Cloud has a full Chromoly frame, while the WeThePeople Justice only has a Trimoly frame. The Justice’s front-tube, head-tube, and down-tube are the only ones that are made of Chromoly, the rest of the bike is made out of high-tensile steel which is bad for big drops and spins.

Rim Quality

For its price point, it’s disappointing that the Sunday EX doesn’t have two double-wall rims as the Cult devotion does. But having single-wall rims for the front wheels still makes it worth considering since it’s the back rim that takes most of the impact anyway.

How are they scored?

Now we get to the single-handedly most important part of the Dougsterbob scoring system. This whole system is designed to give you great insight into how good each bike is for certain types of riding. To understand how these are scored you need to take a look at the Dougsterbob score page you can view that by clicking hereOpens in a new tab.. That’ll break down the curriculum for every single score so that there’s no question as to which bike is better in each section.

Look Score

The WeThePeople Justice got a higher score for this section because it offers two color options, while the Kink Cloud only offers one. The WeThePeople’s Taxi Yellow variant is surely a head-turner.

Street Score

For this section, the Kink Cloud got a higher score compared to the WeThePeople Justice. Having a freecoaster is one of the essentials for street riding and the Kink Cloud is the better option here. Park Score

For the park section; it’s worth knowing that both of these bikes weren’t made specifically for park riding. But the WeThePeople Justice has the snappier geometry which will help the rider execute spins easily compared to the Kink Cloud.

Neither of these bikes are for park specific riding. But if you had to pick one, go with the WTP Justice.

Dirt Score

Both of these BMX bikes weren’t made specifically for dirt riding, but when riding dirt, one of the first things I look into is that the BMX bike should not have a freecoaster because it will make dirt-riding more challenging for the rider. The WeThePeople Justice is the better bike for dirt since it does not have a freecoaster.

The WeThePeople Justice is the better BMX Bike for Dirt if you HAD to pick one.

For the quality section, the Kink Cloud is the clear winner. With the full chromoly frame and the double wall tires, the Kink Cloud will withstand abuse for a long time. The WeThePeople Justice has a trimoly frame and one singlewall rim which means that it could break after a few hard drops.

My parents bought me my first BMX bike in 2011 and it changed my life. This bike has taken me all over the world and introduced me to cool places and cooler people. My goal is to help get 1,000,000 people into BMX so they can experience the joy and freedom that comes from a progression based sport.
