2020 Fit Augie Overview
Austin Augie signature BMX from FIT, featuring sealed bearings, an integrated headset and mid-BB, this bike is super durable. The Augie is based on Austin’s personal bike, with a 20.5″ TT Full CrMo frame and 9.25″ 2pc CrMo bars give riders peace of mind. Reliability is taken care of by FIT Indented CrMO 165mm cranks, a 3/8 sealed front hub and 14mm Freecoasrer hub. The wheels are complemented with a FIT S1W rims with 2.4″ FIT F/U Tyres. FIT Savage flangeless grips, FIT Barstool Tripod seat and four steel w/plastic sleeve pegs wrap this bike up to make it true to Augie’s style.

2020 Fit Augie Price
This bike is actually pretty impressive. Fit was able to make a “signature” bike for only $480. Thats a good price, and it is pretty good quality for that price.
2020 Fit Augie Quality
The 2020 Augie comes with lots of chromoly parts, which is a good thing. This makes it last longer, and withstand abuse. Chromoly frame, bars, forks and cranks hold the Augie together. But Fit still failed to put DOUBLE WALL RIMS on the bike. 😭 They will get thrashed.

When a complete comes with good parts from the start, you won’t end up spending as much to fix it in the long run.

Single Wall Rims
I still cant believe this honestly. Why build a high end bike with single wall rims? Most low end bikes have at least a double wall rear rim. Oh well.

Conclusion 🤩
The single wall rims really keep this bike to a beginner level. The 2020 Augie has the potential to be a mid level bike if you buy some new wheels. However, it will hold up for a good while because of the chromoly parts.
