Frame Geometry

A: Top Tube Length:  20″ – Learn what size is right for you here.Opens in a new tab.

A 20″ top tube is a really short top tube. This gives smaller riders the ability to progress a little faster.

This is good for riders that are between 4’10” to 5’7″

B: Chain Stay Length: 13.7”

This is a long chain stay. Longer Chain-stays give you more control when doing manuals and bunny hops.

C: Head Tube Angle: 74°

Steep head tube angles make the bike “snappy” meaning more responsive to fast turns.

A less steep head tube gives you more control.

D: Seat Tube Angle: 71°

E: Bottom Bracket Height: 11.75″

SE Everyday Price

I hate saying this.. But in my opinion, this bike is wayyyy overpriced. At the bottom, I’m going to put a list of bikes that have much better quality and are around the same price. If you need a bike and don’t care about quality, find one for around $250.

SE Everyday Quality

Most of these parts are of lower quality.

Hi-tensile frame. this is the lower quality of frame. It will hold up good for riders that are just getting into the sport. As the rider progresses the bike will break.

Single Wall Rims. These rims bend over time.

Highlights

Good brand

SE is a pretty high-quality brand with a big backing in bmx. The bike isn’t that great though.

Lowlights

Not a good value

The SE everyday bike is very overpriced. You do not get good parts for the price you pay. Check the list below for a better quality bike for the same price.

Buy if you are learning:

  • pull up BarsOpens in a new tab.
  • x-up rides
  • 180
  • Bunnyhops

Don’t buy if you are learning:

  • 720
  • tech lip tricks
  • Huge Trails
  • Grinds
  • Big drops

SE Everyday Conclusion 🤩

I would not recommend this bike. The specs and the parts are designed for brand new bmx riders. I have seen a lot of other bikes for $450 that has twice the quality. That’s why I don’t recommend this bike.

My parents bought me my first BMX bike in 2011 and it changed my life. This bike has taken me all over the world and introduced me to cool places and cooler people. My goal is to help get 1,000,000 people into BMX so they can experience the joy and freedom that comes from a progression based sport.
