Do Buy If…

  • You are a progressing rider

  • You want a top of the line pro bike
  • You love Nathan Williams

Brand new for this model year, the 2020 Kink Williams is the flagship model in the Kink line and their first signature bike with Kink Pro team rider Nathan Williams.

The Williams is a no compromises bike that gets as close to Nathan’s personal ride as possible with a much more friendly price tag. Stacked with aftermarket parts, and superior manufacturing and materials, the Williams bike is one of the best of the best in BMX, no question.

The Gloss Raw Tint colorway is truly unique and shifts in the light, while still showing through to the welds showing off the craftsmanship of the frame.

The frame itself features both a double-butted toptube and downtube and is paired up to aftermarket Kink Foundation II forks with a short 26mm offset, and aftermarket Kink Williams 9.25” rise heat-treated bars.

The impressive aftermarket components list continues with the Cinema Rewind 25t sprocket, Cinema Sync half-link chain, Cinema Williams 2.5” tires, and Kink Highrise CNC stem. The 2020 Williams also features 48-spline cranks, a Mission Dispatch freecoaster and four Cinema C4 pegs, so this bike is truly ready to ride straight out of the box.

Price

The 2020 Kink Williams is an expensive bike. Although if you ask me, it’s 100% worth the money. When I look through the part list that make this brand new Kink bike I see nothing but good parts. I’d advise anyone to go with a top quality bike like this because you will save a bunch of money on the long run.

Quality

I think Kink does a great job at building high quality completes. They are often times the best bang for your buck. Nathan’s signature has all of the high quality parts you’d expect from an $800 bike.

Highlights

GOOD UPGRADED PARTS 😍

When a complete bike comes with Cinema chain and sprocket you know it’s a good deal. It also has a full chromoly frame with double butter tubing. (Makes the welds twice as strong.) Literary every part is a good one!

Lowlights

None? 🤷‍♂️

Park

Although the specs on this bike are set up for primarily street. You will not have a problem shredding the parks. This 2020 Kink Williams bike has parts like full chromoly frame, bars, and forks. With these full chromoly parts you will be able case airs and take some hard slams without ruining your precious bike.

Be warned that the Kink Williams bike has a freecoaster. There is nothing wrong with a freecoater.. you will have a harder time with tire taps.

Street

Kink designed this bike to be primarily street. It has a freecoaster, 9.25″ bars, a highrise stem, and 2.5 wide tires. 😳 Add all of those parts up to get a pretty dialed street machine.

Dirt

For dirt, the 2020 Kink Williams is designed to hold up. It also has bigger frame geometry giving it a lot more stability. As a 6’4″ person on a 20.7″ frame, I can attest that bigger frames give you a lot more control at high speeds. Many people like to ride brakes when they ride dirt. This bike has a straight brake system, the gryo tabs and gyro are not included.

Conclusion 🤩

I would really recommend spending all the money on this bike and getting something worth the investment. Especially if you want a freecoaster and want to ride street. You will be able to take this bike and ride it anywhere until you figure out which kind of riding is best for you.

My parents bought me my first BMX bike in 2011 and it changed my life. This bike has taken me all over the world and introduced me to cool places and cooler people. My goal is to help get 1,000,000 people into BMX so they can experience the joy and freedom that comes from a progression based sport.
