2020 Stolen X Fiction Creature Bike Review

Any time there is a complete bmx bike for less around $500 I wonder about the quality… Most bikes in this price range are designed for new shredders. But this bike is really good quality for the price. You will see aftermarket parts like the Creature Frame, Stolen Thermalite Pedals, and Monkey Bars. What more could you ask for?

2020 Stolen X Fiction Creature Bike Overview

The 2020 Stolen X Fiction Creature bike is a collaboration between Stolen Bikes and sister brand Fiction BMX. Built around Fiction’s aftermarket Creature frame, Monkey bars and Troop fork in unique colorways, this bike stands out in a sea of boring bikes. The build is finished with more Stolen and Fiction aftermarket parts, like Mob cranks, Thermalite pedals, Troop grips, Savage headset and bottom bracket, Rampage wheels, Atlas tires, Kushion seat and Thermalite post.

2020 stolen x fiction creature

Price

So $509 is a very affordable price for a high quality bike like this. Some frames alone cost $400+. Being able to get a complete bike with after market parts is a complete steal. Don’t get me wrong, Fiction parts are not the same high quality usa parts that fit and S and M are. But they get the job done.

Quality

This Stolen x Fiction Creature is built with good quality. It has everything you need to keep shredding. Including a full chromoly frame, bars, and forks. The seat that comes on this bike is trash though. I did have it and it looks nice and padded, then BAM. Rock hard seat. Very sad.

Highlights

Good parts for a good price 😍

Like I mentioned earlier, this bike is super cheap when you consider the parts that are on it. Some frames cost over $400 and this complete bike is only $500.

Lowlights

Not the BEST parts. 🤬

The parts that come on this bike are good. However, they are not the absolute best. Don’t stress it though.

Park

You can ride any park with this bike. I even recommend it. Stolen put good geometry on the frame to help you air with control. The bike is geared to taller riders because it has a 21″ frame. If you aren’t tall and you want to ride park. Do it! Just don’t expect to man handle the bike.

Street

With a frame that has 13.2″ chainstays you will get a lot more back end control. This means that manuals and ice picks will be easier to hold. Annother street bonus is the double wall rims. If you plan to do spins down any kind of drop, you will want to have double wall rims.

Dirt

Riding dirt on this 2020 Stolen X Fiction Creature is very possible. However it is build for the street/park rider who wants to go and ride some small dirt occasionally.

Conclusion 🤩

This bike is perfect to buy for almost anyone. Like I mentioned, it is a 21″ TT so its best for taller riders. It will hold up to almost any trick you want to learn, and it will not cost you too much.

My parents bought me my first BMX bike in 2011 and it changed my life. This bike has taken me all over the world and introduced me to cool places and cooler people. My goal is to help get 1,000,000 people into BMX so they can experience the joy and freedom that comes from a progression based sport.
