The 2020 Primer is a pretty good bike. It has a ton of color options, and size options. I don’t like that the frame is hi-tensile steel, With double wall rims. however, this bike is perfect for beginners who just want to start and try the sport. Getting a low-quality bike like this is perfect if you only plan to ride a little bit.

3. 2020 Kink Launch

matte dust lliac

$319

Overview

The 2020 Launch continues the legacy of a truly remarkable bike. This bike is still one of the best value priced models in the market, hands down, year after year. Available in Gloss Guinness Black, Matte Dusk Lilac, and Gloss Raw Holographic colorways, the Launch pairs its great color selection with even better components.

The Launch is equipped with both a sealed integrated headset and sealed Mid bottom bracket, which drastically improves performance and virtually eliminates maintenance of these components. Combined with a parts package that includes Kink Stryker forks, Kink Human CC 8.75” bars, and Mission Triumph 3pc tubular chromoly cranks, this bike is a rookies dream.

Conclusion

I really like the Kink launch because of the colors and the small top tube. Kink design the launch to be a low priced entry-level BMX. With the goal to bring in new riders. Sadly, the lunch does not have chromoly on the frame or bars. Weighing only 26 lb this bike will get a lot of people into BMX and serve its purpose as an entry-level.

The big bars, short backend, and sealed rear freecoaster hub mean the Downside is ready for some serious riding. The special Matte Dusk Sage colorway needs to be seen in person to be truly appreciated, and the paired skin wall tires and black parts keep this bike looking pro.
